Last weekend we’ve had a snowstorm. It started when we were still at work. When looking out of the windows I didn’t feel too comfortable. I hate driving in the snow. You can’t see the curbs, other traffic makes it more dangerous and you always have the idiots out there who try to overtake on a slippery road or trying to cross the road in front of you thinking you’ll be able to break in a split second on a road covered with snow and ice. Don’t get me wrong, I love snow but than only in the safety of your own home with no need to go out. Normally driving home takes about 15 to 20 minutes, sometimes more if you got some slow git in front of you which goes 50km where 80 is allowed or when you’ve got a car that’s all over the road (probably drunk). That night it took us over an hour to get home. |
